What is a powerful quote or motto that inspires you?
My motto for my position in estimating is “On to the next one!” Although, it would be amazing if ACE is always the low bidder on all the projects that we bid, that is not always the case. Instead of dwelling too much on the loss, I try to learn from it and re-direct my focus on the future bids that I am working on and to keep on going to win the next one! I sometimes repeat this motto after a win as well because my purpose in the company does not end after a win and I still have to keep moving on to the next one that could grow our company and fulfill the purpose and vision.
What does working at ACE mean to you?
Working for ACE gives me purpose especially because of the work that we do at the treatment plants that helps prevent pollution of our water bodies. Water is an essential part of all our lives and it is needed for our ecosystems so working for a company that helps to maintain a healthy environment provides an immensurable value to me.
