What does working at ACE mean to you

Working for ACE means a lot of things to me. It means being able to contribute to a vital part of everybody’s daily life that many overlook – the water infrastructure. It means being able to take an idea from being digital to physical; putting it to work in the real world. It means being able to show your leadership skills and get to understand those that you work with closely. From vendors to subcontractors, owners to coworkers, being able to communicate and work seamlessly together, to achieve the project goals, brings a sense of joy and fulfillment in knowing that I have contributed to something that society relies on so heavily.

What is your favorite ACE sponsored activity? Why? (Summer picnic, kickball teams, community service projects, holiday parties, etc.)

I’d definitely choose any sport event such as kickball to be my favorite ACE sponsored activity. I’ve been an athlete my whole life and find genuine happiness in being competitive; pairing that with fun teammates, who happen to be my coworkers, builds nothing short of a family-type bond. Our recent kickball tournament proved itself to be one of the greatest activities we’ve done together. It was a great opportunity, for myself and others, to build a better relationship with people from different departments in a less formal setting where we all work towards a common goal – bringing the boot home.
