The Project generally consists of:
1. Construction of a new submersible pumping station designed for a peak flow of 15 million gallons per day, four submersible pumps, a valve chamber, a flow-metering chamber, sump pumps, isolation gates, hatches, an odor control system, and all associated accessories and appurtenances shown and described in the Contract Documents.
2. Construction of a new West Side Interceptor Overflow Chamber to divert flow from the existing West Side Interceptor to the new submersible pump station, including but not limited to an overflow control weir gate, a new 48-inch diameter overflow relief sewer, and an 8-foot diameter manhole.
3. Construction of a new of a pre-engineered Electrical Building, including building foundation, interior electrical and lighting equipment, heating and ventilating systems, and all accessories as shown or described in the Contract Documents.
4. Construction of a new pig launching facility (furnish and install) at the pump station site, and furnishing a pig receiving facility for installation by others under a separate contract.
5. Yard piping including discharge forcemain from the new submersible pump station.
6. Miscellaneous other civil/site improvements, including grading, paving, fencing, and site restoration.
