The Deep Run Conveyance Improvements include demolition of structures, equipment, piping, and related material in areas of construction. The project also consists of furnishing and installing an expansion of the existing Deep Run Pump Station (PS) Control Building, modifications to the existing wet well, and construction of a new wet well. The project also includes site improvements, expansion of existing electrical power distribution, a new backup generator, improvements to existing SCADA systems, and other proposed work as delineated in the plans and specifications.
The FMC Conveyance Improvements consists of demolition of structures, equipment, piping, and related material in areas of construction. The project also consists of furnishing and installing a new FMC Pump Station (PS) Building to house new pumps, new electrical equipment, equipment storage, a new wet well, and a new flowmeter vault. The project also includes site improvements, new electrical power distribution, a new backup generator, new SCADA systems, and other related work.
The FMC WWTP Decommissioning consists of demolition of structures, equipment, piping, and decommissioning of the existing WWTP outfall as delineated.
The Combined Force Main consists of a new force main beginning at the new FMC PS then travelling to a point of connection with the Deep Run PS force main. From that connection point, the combined force main alignment generally follows along Tidewater Trail toward the Massaponax Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The combined force main terminates at a connection point at the Massaponax WWTP.
